The course PER on board lasts for 5 days and at the end of the course you can examine the PER title.

The course includes the theoretical part, all the didactic material (briefcase with books, letters, cartabon, compass, conveyor angles, notebook, pencil, sharpen pencils, ballpoint pen), Radio Operator Practices of Short Reach (ROCA), and the practices of Security and navigation (Engine).

If the student wishes, he will be able to carry out the sailing license and the Islas 24 hours rating (it has an additional cost).

The complete course would last 5 days if only the mandatory practices are done and 7 days if the complementary ratings of Sail and Islands are made 24 hours.
(optional with cost).

Plan
First session:
On Monday morning we started with the ROCA practices, in a classroom with simulators a few meters from the boat, in the Port Olímpic itself. At the end we got on the boat to make a theoretical introduction, security briefing and rest.

Next sessions
From Tuesday to Friday we will combine the safety and navigation practices - MOTOR - with the learning of the theoretical part on board the boat. On Friday at 7pm, the basic PER course (PER MOTOR) ends.

Extension of powers
If you want to extend the privileges of the PER to Vela, Islas, you can continue navigating one more day to obtain the Islas 24 rating, and come on the Saturday before the course if you wish to also enable sailing. You can sleep on board every day.
