Description:
The Recreational Boat Skipper (PER) course in Mallorca trains participants to take boats up to 15 meters in length and navigate up to 12 nautical miles from the coast. This comprehensive course combines solid theoretical training with mandatory practice at sea.
Course content:
In-person theoretical course:
The theoretical course provides knowledge in maritime regulations, navigation safety, nautical cartography, meteorology, boat maneuvers, and first aid at sea.
Online test:
You can test yourself through our online tests.
Mandatory practices:
Carry out 16 hours of navigation practices at sea.
Take a short-range radio operator course (12 hours).
Upon successfully completing both the theoretical part and the mandatory practices, participants will receive a certificate that accredits them as Recreational Boat Skippers (PER), allowing them to enjoy sailing safely and responsibly in coastal waters.
