Description:
The Recreational Boat Skipper (PER) course in Mallorca trains participants to take boats up to 24 meters in length and navigate up to 12 nautical miles from the coast and also between the peninsula and the Balearic Islands.
This comprehensive course combines solid theoretical training with mandatory practice at sea.
Course content:
In-person theoretical course:
The theoretical course provides knowledge in maritime regulations, navigation safety, nautical cartography, meteorology, boat maneuvers, and first aid at sea.
Online test:
You can test yourself through our online tests.
Mandatory practices:
Carry out 16 hours of navigation practices at sea.
Take a short-range radio operator course (12 hours).
Sailing Qualification Practices:
During this course, you will acquire the necessary skills to govern a sailboat by completing official cruising sailing qualification practices, with a total duration of 16 hours. These internships will provide you with invaluable practical experience in handling sailboats, allowing you to operate with confidence at sea.
PER expansion practices:
The PER extension practices will enable you to be able to govern pleasure boats up to 24 meters in length and navigate between the peninsula and the Balearic Islands.
