Do you want to obtain the license of Recreational Boat Skipper (PER) but you don't have much time?

Sign up for this intensive PER course in Madrid, with classes over a weekend, which includes the mandatory practices (Alicante or Seville) and obtain the license of recreational skipper. This license is valid for boats up to 15 metres and for coastal navigation up to 12 miles. (*)

To obtain the Recreational Boat Skipper (PER) license, you must pass a theoretical exam and complete a few hours of navigation practice (16 hours) and take a short-range radio operator course (12 hours).

(*) The qualifications of the title can be extended up to 24 metres and also to sail between the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, if some qualifying crossing practices are carried out.

Plan

The face-to-face theoretical course consists of 16 teaching hours that are taught over three days with this schedule:

- Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Saturday afternoon from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday morning from 10:00 to 14:00.
- Sunday afternoon from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

You can book the course that best suits your schedule from those available.

Once you book the course you will receive the didactic material and access to the virtual school to prepare the first chapters of the agenda before the class weekend.

Radiocommunication practices are carried out at the school and navigation practices are carried out on a date to be agreed with the student on the school schedule. There are practices throughout the year.

Classes are taught in the north of Madrid. School with extensive facilities and very easy parking on the same street (Zona azul SER).

Other information

This course is taught in spanish. You must have a sufficient level of this language to be able to follow the course.

The course includes:
- Enrollment in nautical school.
- Complete course teaching material.
- Access to the virtual nautical school for 6 months.
- Basic safety and navigation practices (16 hours) in Alicante or Seville
- Short-range radio operator course (12 hours).

Other extras:
- Sailing qualification practices (16 hours)
- Practices for the extension of powers (24 hours)

Not included:
- Exam registration fees and management (You can register for the exam session at www.examenesdenautica.com)
- Processing and fees for obtaining the degree (To be completed once the exam has been passed).
- Psychotechnical certificate required for the process of issuing the degree.
