We're sailing in the Mediterranean – join us and become part of the crew!

We sail from the Mediterranean island of Sicily to the Aeolian Islands, anchor there, and then sail back to Palermo. This will be in springtime, when the sun has been shining for a long time and the bays are still empty.
On board 04.04.2027 from 17:00 Palermo in Sicily
Disembarkation on April 10, 2027, arriving in Palermo, Sicily at 10:00 AM

Welcome aboard a Bavaria 46C, just under 14 meters long, with three double cabins and one bunk cabin. In spring and summer 2027, we'll sail from Sicily via Sardinia and Corsica to Naples, the Aeolian Islands, and on to Lefkada. In July and August, we'll sail from Sardinia via Ibiza to Málaga – including a solar eclipse cruise – and then on to Cartagena. You can join us for one or more weeks.

Everyone on board is part of the crew: We sail together, everyone takes a turn at the helm, sets the sails, and helps with docking, cooking, and navigation. No prior experience is necessary. There are also sailing trips where you are a guest and are waited on – others do that, but not us.

My sailing and sports boat school is in the middle of Berlin. Here you will learn to sail, drive a motorboat and radio, as well as prepare for a trip on the high seas.
I have been passionately running the sailing school with my team since 2006.

A great sailing and water sports school. I obtained my SBF-See, SBF-Binnen/Segel and UBI/SRC here. Friendly, patient trainers who use their experience and skills to get you to the required exam level. Despite the training, there is still plenty of fun and they take the time to respond to special requests/concerns. I would love to come back here to broaden my maritime horizons.

The theory compact course (in my case SBF Inland) is really very good and prepares you ideally for the exam and beyond.
I also really liked the friendly trainers during the practical training sessions. This meant I was able to pass both exams straight away.

Very good preparation for the exam and future sailing experiences. You can see that all the trainers are very passionate about what they do.
There are always reports of experiences and additional theoretical background on all exam-relevant topics, so that you feel very well prepared the first time you are alone on the boat.

I just did my SBF inland sailing/motor here.
Great people, pleasant atmosphere. The teachers are easy-going, but still competent and can show you what is important when sailing.
If you don't feel completely confident with certain maneuvers, just ask. There is no rigid curriculum that has to be followed. You can decide for yourself where you need more practice.
As you gain experience, you will spend some time on board with just other students. This helps you to feel responsible for the boat and the maneuvers and to coordinate with the other students. But don't worry, a boat with a teacher is always nearby if something goes wrong or you have any questions.
