Learn to sail in Cadiz

Sailing course taught by an experienced sailor to learn how to sail on sailboats, trim, adjustments and knowledge of sailing maneuvers.

It will be an 8-hour journey on board the boat. You will be able to learn how to sail a sailboat without worries.

You don't need any previous experience as this is a beginner's course. You will acquire enough knowledge to help you gain skill and confidence at the helm of a sailboat, regardless of its size.

Plan

We embarked at the port of Chipiona at 10:00 to familiarize ourselves with the maneuvers, sails and ropes of a sailboat.

We set sail at around 12:00 heading for the open sea to learn how to hoist the sails and proceed to tack in various positions to practice with different shapes and trims.

Return to port at 18:00, carrying out maneuvers to fold and correctly stow the sails, as well as organizing the deck and asking general questions.

Boat details

Beautiful fast and safe sailboat, perfectly conditioned for ocean crossings, it has 2 complete cabins, 1 independent bathroom with toilet, shower and sink, living room for 10 people, complete kitchen with 2 refrigerators and fully equipped, clear and wide deck to take the sun and enjoy the sea as well as a comfortable and safe bathtub to enjoy sailing or eat with views of a beautiful cove... it also has a bathing platform with access to the sea and a bathing ladder to enjoy a good bath.

The boat includes pneumatic and outboard as well as all the regulatory safety equipment, this being reviewed annually as well as the boat itself, carrying out routine and exhaustive controls of it and its equipment.

The boat is always skippered by the owner and an assistant sailor.
