Navigation License Course in Parque N. Cabo de Gata

Come sail with us in this special enclave of Cabo de Gata, where we offer you the 6-hour course to obtain the Navigation License, which allows you to sail with a motor boat of up to 6 meters in length in Spain, and with any jet ski.

The course provides a practical introduction to boat handling, safety equipment, and preparing the boat and crew to go out on the water.

The Navigation License allows you to skipper:

Motor boats up to 6 meters in total length.
Jetskis/watercraft of all sizes.
During daylight hours.
Up to 2 nautical miles from a port, marina or safe haven.
From 16 years old.
You can skipper your own boat or a rented boat with this license.

Plan

We will start with a 2-hour theoretical class. We will be able to do it on the boat in this incredible place like Cabo de Gata. After that, we will carry out the 4 hours of practice, where you will learn to dock, anchor, navigate, use the radio and, most importantly, to enjoy. After the practices we will celebrate with a swim in the crystal clear waters of these coves.

We will leave the Port of Carboneras, after doing docking practices with the different students. Once we have passed the tests, we will head out towards Playa de Los Muertos, where we will stop to learn how to anchor and lift in this unbeatable setting.

Other information

This course is taught in spanish. You must have a sufficient level of this language to be able to follow the course.

Students must put into practice the following:

- Comfortable clothing for sailing.
- Nautical or white-soled footwear.
- Solar cap.
- Sunscreen.
- Sunglasses.
- Drink to refresh yourself (non-alcoholic).
- And a good sandwich, then you get hungry.
