The course consists of two hours of theory and four hours of navigation practice.

The Navigation License title enables you to:

Government of recreational vessels up to 6 meters in length, with an engine power appropriate to the vessel, according to the manufacturer
Navigation distance of up to 2 miles from the coast.
Driving jet skis without power limits.
Daytime navigation only.

Course Requirements:

Be 18 years old or 16 with the authorization of parents or guardians.
There is no exam, just approved practices.
Complete 4 hours of navigation and safety practices
Take 2 hours of theoretical class.
Present a medical certificate specific to the degree.

Plan

There are 6 hours of the course in total, which we will do in a row.

2 hours are theory and 4 hours are internships on board the boat.

Schedule: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Contents:

In the theoretical part, topics such as navigation safety, maritime regulations, limitations to navigation and rules to prevent approaches are addressed. In the internship, boat management, safety, pre-departure checks and maneuvers in port are taught.

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (english and spanish)
