The course consists of two parts: a 2-hour theoretical training and a 4-hour practical training.
The entire course, both theory and practice, takes place at the Alicante Marina. The theory is normally taught on land and practice on a training ship, where all exercises and maneuvers will be performed.
The course program is established in the regulations that regulate obtaining nautical degrees. You will learn safety issues on board and take the helm of the boat to learn about the different maneuvers. You will learn to anchor, to dock and undock, to tie a buoy, to react in the event of a man overboard and other matters of interest, included in the official program.
