Wherever the wind takes us - Sailing trip from Barcelona

There are sailing trips that follow a marked route. And then there are the crossings that are built by sailing.

This is a 7-day sailing experience aboard the sailboat, departing from Barcelona and letting the wind, the weather and the crew's own pace set the course.

This is not a traditional boat vacation or a closed itinerary with mandatory stops. The idea is to experience the sea in a more authentic way: to sail, to live together, to adapt and to enjoy the journey.

Depending on the conditions, we can cross to the Balearic Islands, explore the Costa Brava or discover corners of the Mediterranean that were not in the initial plan. Precisely there is part of the magic of this journey.

During the week there will be day and possibly night sailing, maneuvers, guards, life on board and active participation for those who want to get involved in sailing. There will also be time to relax, swim, paddle surf, cook together or simply enjoy the sea and the calm of sailing.

The group will be small, a maximum of 8 people, to maintain a close environment and a good coexistence on board.

No previous experience is needed, just a desire to sail and live a different experience.

Plan

Day 1 — Boarding in Barcelona.

Meeting of the crew in Port Fòrum, preparation of the ship, presentation of the trip and first maneuvers before setting sail.

Days 2 to 6 — Sailing and life on board.

The route will adapt to weather conditions and wind. Depending on the conditions, we can make a trip to the Balearic Islands, tour part of the Costa Brava or explore different corners of the Mediterranean.

The voyage will combine sailing, mooring, life on board and participation in maneuvers for those who want to learn and take an active part in sailing.

There will be time both to sail and to enjoy the sea, bathe, rest, cook together or explore small coves and ports.

Day 7 — Return to Barcelona.

Last sailing and arrival in Barcelona in the afternoon. Farewell to the crew and end of the voyage.

The skipper for this activity speaks catalan and spanish. To participate you must speak one of the languages spoken on board.
