Embarkation in Copenhagen takes place at 7 pm. During the subsequent communal dinner in the cozy lounge, you will quickly feel at ease on the deck planks and get to know your fellow passengers and the friendly crew.
Our sailing area: Øresund, Kattegat, archipelago and Götä älv
As a general rule, the captain usually decides which port or anchorage to use in the evening based on the wind and weather conditions, mostly on the same day.
Look forward to wonderful sailing days on the crisp autumn waters of the Baltic Sea. You are welcome to actively participate in the sailing activities on a voluntary basis – our experienced crew will gladly show you every nautical skill and are happy to help.
Or make yourself comfortable below deck in the cozy salon, browse through a good book from the onboard library or take a look at the DVD selection.
After a beautiful day of sailing on the Kattegat, we reach the port city of Halmstad as a possible next stop; it is also called the "city with three hearts" because of the symbols on its coat of arms.
The town, situated on the Nissan River, offers numerous parks and green spaces; beaches stretch for ten kilometers along the coast just outside the town center.
The Picasso sculpture "Woman's Head" is considered a landmark of the city, as is the historic three-masted barque "Naiad", which lies in the harbor as a museum ship.
We cruise through the grey-blue waters of the Kattegat bay; before entering the port of Gothenburg, the challenging passage through the archipelago must be mastered – small and tiny rocky islands lie scattered here and within easy reach of the approach line to the city center.
The archipelago of western Sweden is considered by experienced sailors and Scandinavian enthusiasts to be perhaps the most beautiful sailing area in the Baltic Sea. Scenically diverse, well-protected, and at times enchantingly dreamy, this "maritime adventure playground" lies off the coast of the Swedish provinces of Västergötland and Bohuslän.
Before the end of our journey, we plan to travel down the Götä älv river, which here, as the Trollhätte Canal, forms a navigable connection between the Kattegat and Lake Vänern. At this time of year, the journey along the shore is visually unique and captivating.
Pleasant sailing close to the coast makes this trip ideal for beginners. This varied cruise is characterized by a balanced ratio of sailing time at sea, time spent ashore in port, and the so-called "regional cruise" on the Trollhätte Canal.
