Autonomy course in light sailing in Embalse de Entrepeñas

Learn to sail an hour from Madrid surrounded by natural landscapes in the Entrepeñas reservoir.

A weekend learning to master sailing, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

In this course, students will consolidate their knowledge, advance in exit maneuvers, arrival at the shore and practice safety maneuvers. You will navigate alone, followed by a teacher. At the end of the course you will need to be able to sail alone, in optimal wind conditions, without the supervision of an instructor.

It is necessary to have previously taken the initiation sailing course:

If the student does not have the minimum knowledge seen in the initiation course, the instructor, for safety and good use of the course, may cancel the autonomy course until they have this previous training.

Plan

*Saturday (10:30 to 18:00):

The first day we will start with an introductory talk to review what we learned in level 1, focusing on directions, specific parts of the ship and autonomous navigation techniques. You will prepare your individual boat and go sailing on your own, learning to coordinate course and sails simultaneously, with the instructor supervising your progress from a motorboat.

*Sunday (10:30 to 18:00):

The second day we will begin with another talk to consolidate knowledge and review autonomous navigation techniques. You'll practice more advanced maneuvers, improving your control of the boat in different directions and conditions. At the end, you'll be sailing with total autonomy, ready to take any boat to sail with confidence!

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

The course will take place as long as the weather conditions are not extreme.
