In summer the Lagoon 42 is in Crete.
The catamaran is located in the marina Agios Nikolaos
Schedule of the week:
The new guests come on board on Saturday.
The cabins and catamaran are cleaned by 12:30. We go grocery shopping with the guests in the afternoon. Saturday evening, there's a round of introductions and a barbecue on board.
Depending on the weather, we'll leave the marina on Saturday or Sunday. We'll take a short tour to the beaches of Crete or Tenerife. Sunday morning begins with a detailed theoretical explanation of all the catamaran features and mooring maneuvers.
All exercises of the week are discussed with the customers so that you can prepare for the upcoming catamaran maneuvers.
We'll sail, reef, and anchor several times. On the open sea, you'll learn how to steer the catamaran.
You can process the information you've gained and repeat certain exercises later—the next day. In the morning, the focus is on maneuver training. New exercises are added each day, allowing you to better control the catamaran.
The level of difficulty increases daily until you master a mooring and unmooring maneuver in a marina.
We get you FIT for your future catamaran charter holiday.
There is plenty of time for relaxation during the week - a mini-vacation, so to speak.
We'll be back in the marina by Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning, where we'll practice mooring and unmooring extensively.
On Friday evening, the skipper will invite you to the captain's dinner. Saturday morning, you can enjoy breakfast on board and then head to the airport.
For Agios Nikolas, Crete, Greece, fly to Heraklion. From there, you can take the KTEC bus directly from the airport to the marina in Agios Nikolas. It runs every hour during peak season. Costs approximately €11. The journey takes approximately 2 hours.
Alternatively, take a taxi: about 65km and costs between €75 and €90. Or reserve a taxi at www.airportstaxitransfers.com. Costs start at €65, and the journey takes about an hour. Keep the receipt – we'll sponsor you with €50.
