Are you seaworthy? Non-smoker and have already gained some sailing experience and still need miles for your ocean sailing license or other licenses, then this is your opportunity to collect another 560 miles.
We start in Licata and sail on a southeasterly course to the entrance to the Strait of Messina, which we leave on port. We head on a northeasterly course to the tip of the boot, which we reach after another 90 NM.
Then we go through the Ionian Sea and the Gulf of Taranto to the heel of the boot. Once we have passed the heel we continue northwest to the island of Lastovo, where we make a short stop to take care of the paperwork. From there it is about 50 NM to our destination Kaštela.
Depending on the wind and weather, we need about 4-5 days for the entire route.
