Collect Atlantic miles from Benalmadena to Tenerife

Direct distance about 800 NM
Depending on the wind and weather, we will either head to Madeira or Lanzarote to stop there.

From Benalmadena we first go to Gibraltar. There we will fill up with duty-free fuel and possibly spend a day or two before crossing the straits into the Atlantic. If the wind and weather are right, we will sail directly towards the Canary Islands. It is about 650 NM to Arrecife, which we will reach in about 5 days with good wind. We can then stay on Lanzarote for a day or two if we want. The island with its volcanoes is definitely worth seeing.
From Lanzarote it is another 200 NM and about 2 days to our destination Marina del Sur on Tenerife.

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (german)

Since this is an ocean voyage, weatherproof clothing (oilskins) is essential, as there can be bad weather/storms/rain at this time of year.
It is also essential to keep watch during night trips.

You should be seaworthy!!!

Only plan your return flight when you can really predict when we will reach our destination port!
