Course of maneuvers and mooring in port

We propose this course of maneuvers in port, entrances and exits of docks, piers and mooring of the ship. All of them are maneuvers that it is necessary to know well and practice when steering a boat.

We will also make entries under sail or in adverse weather conditions (weather permitting) in order to simulate an emergency situation. We will study the possibilities and resources to get around a ship, enter a dock and try to keep the situation under control as far as possible.

The course will take place on the weekend from the Real Club Náutico de Denia.

Plan

Boarding on Friday at 7:00 p.m.
Disembark on Sunday at 6:00 p.m.

During the course we will see the following sections:
- Presentation of the course. Theory and practice
- The inboard engine
- Propellers dextro rotate and levo rotate. Ciabogas with the boat. Band to which the ship usually falls
- How to prepare the maneuver in port, options we have
- Inertia and abatement of the ship in port
- Organization and functions of the crew
- Speed regulation and control. Maneuver
- Tickets in bad weather

Other information

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

You can sleep on the boat and it includes the mooring in the port of Denia, not the mooring that would have to be done in other ports.
A small common fund is made to buy the weekend, diesel and a port for one night if necessary.
*Minimum crew necessary to carry out the activity: 4 pers.
