The sailing course in the Balearic Islands covers all the necessary aspects to navigate safely, make routes and voyages on the high seas.

The activity is indicated for all levels.

You will learn to:

Plan a high altitude navigation (Balearic Islands from Barcelona)
Correctly trim the mainsails, genoa, Gennaker jib, Spi and code 0 depending on the wind.
Tacking and jibing with crew and alone and how to avoid involuntary jibes.
How to deal with bad weather, safety techniques.
Perform safe night navigation.
Learn to use autopilot.
Use of electronics for sailing with the B&G Sailsteer program.
Use of AIS.
Correct anchoring and mooring technique.
How to do the man overboard under sail and safely.
Rifling Sails and retaining greater.
Stop the sailing boat.
Loss of engine and sailing.
Weather Forecast.

    FRIDAY:
    Boarding from 2:00 p.m. Presentation of the crew, distribution of cabins and we organize the purchase, trying to set sail at dusk depending on the weather and then we begin with the night navigation towards the islands.

    FROM FRIDAY TO THURSDAY (+7 DAYS):
    Navigation and development of high-altitude navigation, navigating with different types of sails and courses, through the Balearic Islands (Menorca, Mallorca and Ibiza in Weather mode)

Minimum of 4 students signed up to take the course.

We carry out the High Seas Navigation course on the Dehler 34c cruise-racer sailboat from the year 2021. The sailboat is designed for 8 people for zone b, but for maximum learning and comfort, a maximum of 5 crew members in total will participate.

The sailboat has pneumatics and an outboard motor to be able to go ashore when we are anchored.

Calculate about €25 for food expenses per crew member and day.
