Boarding and disembarking in Costa Brava, CN Costa Brava (Palamós). We will be sailing during the weekend.

North navigation area (Medas Islands, Cap de Creus, Falcó Islands, Port de la Selva), or south (Santa Cristina Beach, La Isla and Bahía de Tossa, Menorca Ibiza, Formentera).

Plan

Boarding: Every Friday at 19:00 at CN Costa Brava, Palamós.
Disembarkation: Sunday around 19:00.

Navigation Areas: We will explore the north (Medas Islands, Cap de Creus, Falcó Islands, Port de la Selva) or south (Santa Cristina Beach, La Isla and Tossa Bay, Ibiza, Formentera).

Training Syllabus:
. Optimizing sail setting.
Techniques for sailing in bad weather.
. Safe route planning.
. Night navigation.
. Using the autopilot.
. Meteorology and microclimates.
Maritime safety and emergency response.
. Genoa handling and downwind sailing techniques.
. Use of electronics (VHF DSC, EPIRB, PLOTTER-GPS, AIS, RADAR).

. Skippers Skills.
. "Man overboard" procedures and emergency drills.
. Maneuvers in dock.
