Alicante – Cartagena – Almeria

Around 150 nautical miles of discovery trip along the Spanish coast. Daily stages of an average of 25 to 30 nautical miles allow stopovers in places steeped in history such as Cartagena with its beautiful old town. However, since this is a ferry trip, the focus is on weather navigation and reaching the destinations. The trip is suitable for sailors who want to take a relaxed approach.

Plan

After spending a lot of nautical miles, you will learn about the special circumstances of a long-distance voyage and how to safely handle a yacht equipped for long-distance voyages.

This includes:

• Comprehensive safety briefing
• Evaluating weather reports and weather routing
• Correct reefing in bad weather
• Working with chartplotter, AIS, radar, Navtex
• Safe anchoring
There will also be opportunities for shore excursions and swimming stops.

We sail the stages with a maximum of 6 people including skipper in 4 double cabins.
