On board a modern sailing boat and accompanied by experienced instructors, you will experience ten days of total immersion in the world of sailing. You will learn everything from route planning, interpretation of nautical charts and advanced maneuvers, to safety techniques on the high seas.

What's more, this voyage isn't just about honing your skills, it's an opportunity to connect with the Mediterranean like never before. We'll sail along the Catalan coast, cross the Balearic Islands, and reach the iconic Italian island of Sicily, disembarking in the city of Palermo. Every moment on board will be an opportunity to enjoy the sea, bond with fellow travelers, and live an unrepeatable adventure.

No previous experience is required. All you need is a desire to learn, enjoy the wind and discover what the Mediterranean has to offer.

Transform your theoretical knowledge into real practical skills while living an unforgettable journey

Plan

Day 1: Meeting and explanation of the crossing at the Olympic port in Barcelona at 11am. Departure at 3pm heading for Menorca.

Day 2: Arrival in Menorca at midday to anchor on the leeward side of the island. Practice anchoring and prepare the boat for spending the night and organizing the crossing to Sardinia.

Day 3: Departure at midday for Sardinia. We prepare the boat, plan the weather and the best route, safety, etc.

Day 4: Crossing to Sardinia, with guards, courses according to the wind and life on board.

Day 5: Arrival in Cagliari around midday. We will spend the night in Marina Cagliari, where we will summarize and discuss the entire journey.

Day 6: Sailing to Carlo Forte Island, anchoring practice and land visit to this beautiful island.

Day 7: Departure from Carlo Forte for Sicily after planning guards, weather, security, etc.

Day 8: Crossing to Sicily. Life on board, guards, weather, etc.

Day 9: Arrival in Palermo. Summary of the journey and trip.

Day 10: Disembarkation in Palermo.

Other information

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (english and spanish)

Fuel, food and mooring costs can cost around 250 euros.
It is recommended to bring a sleeping bag and warm, waterproof clothing.
