Sailing workshop at Pogo 36 in La Rochelle, France

We have been wanting to offer you this Performance Sailing Workshop at Pogo 36 for a long time. It is going to be spectacular! We will sail along the French Atlantic coast from Wednesday to Sunday.

The Pogo 36 is a boat that reaches ocean racing sailboat speeds but has all the comforts of a cruising sailboat. We will learn to handle and trim full batten, genoa, gennaker and asymmetric spinnaker and we will see in depth the maneuvers and advanced trim of the sailboat with high speeds of up to 14 and 16 knots.

Without a doubt, a spectacular opportunity to feel the speed in your hands and vibrate with a racing sailboat discovering one of the most beautiful coasts in France, from La Rochelle and Les Sables-d'Olonne to the Isles of Yeu and Houat.

Plan

· Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. - Boarding and stowage.

· From Wednesday to Sunday - Performance Sailing Workshop at Pogo 36 with the following contents:
- Advanced trim.
- Handling the sailboat at high speeds.
- Navigation in bad weather.
- Route planning.
- Mastery of bow sails.
- Gennaker
- Asymmetric Spi

· Sunday, 1:00 p.m. - Disembarkation.

(On Tuesday before boarding you can sleep on the sailboat).

Other information

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (english and spanish)

Confirmation of the workshop is subject to a minimum number of registered students.

The base of the Pogo 36 is located in the port of Port des Minimes in La Rochelle, France.

We will travel by van from Madrid and stopping in Bilbao and San Sebastián to pick up students.
You can also go by plane or Blabla-Car Bus.
By plane:
Arriving at Nantes airport, there are two options to get to la Rochelle:
a) Airport bus “NA line” or Taxi to Nantes train station
b) Train from Nantes to La Rochelle
