You will sail with us for a week on one of our training yachts in Croatia with an experienced instructor who will prepare you for the practical SKS test. We staff our yachts with other candidates for the SKS so that you become a well-rehearsed crew that prepares for the test together. The exam is not just about proving that you can sail, but also about showing that you can manage a crew (seamanship). Therefore, preparing together is the ideal way to successfully pass the exam at the end of the training week.

    On this one-way trip from Punat to Pula we start on October 5th, 2024 in the Marina Punat and end on October 11th, 2024 in the Marina Pula. The yacht must be vacated by October 12th, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at the latest. You will get to know the skipper and crew on site. You will then usually set sail early on Sunday morning. The exam usually takes place on Friday, so you will return home either Friday evening or Saturday.

Other information
The practical test for the sports coastal boating license (SKS) takes place at the end of the training trip. It consists of compulsory tasks and other tasks. We work with the German Motor Yacht Association (DMYV) and the German Sailing Association (DSV). The examinations are carried out by examination committees of the associations. The examinee must register for the examination themselves.
