SKS training trip on the Baltic Sea

This SKS trip on the Baltic Sea is carried out at the best time of year. The days are long, the weather is usually good and the area is challenging.

The 300 nautical miles required for the test are covered and the test maneuvers are sufficiently practiced, all in the context of a beautiful sailing trip. The wind decides which destinations are targeted.

At the end of the trip, the examiners come on board and the practical part of the official SKS test is carried out.

Training, testing and mileage trips, SBF Lake is a prerequisite for being admitted to the SKS exam.

Arrival: on June 25th, 2024 from 6 p.m., Greifswald Sailing School
Departure: on July 5th, 2024 after SKS exam in Greifswald

Plan

The boat is sailed together on the Baltic Sea, along the coast of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the island of Rügen and all the way to Scandinavia. A night trip is also planned to experience sailing in the watch system.

The focus is on training for the SKS practical exam at the end. To do this we will travel at least the necessary 300 nautical miles. The prerequisite for taking part in the exam is the SBF lake.

Other information

The costs for arrival and departure must be handled individually. The costs of the on-board cash register, which are borne jointly by all fellow sailors, are also not included.
