This is a trip for sailing lovers and for those who want to experience the thrill of the ocean without having to cross it entirely!
We'll depart from Benalmadena, a town about 20 km from Malaga, easily reached by car in about 20-30 minutes. It's a popular tourist destination on the Costa del Sol, renowned for its beautiful beaches, mountainous landscapes, and numerous attractions.
We'll be moored at Puerto Marina on the Costa del Sol: a beautiful marina, often considered one of the most beautiful in Europe. It offers a wide selection of restaurants, bars, shops, and breathtaking sea views.
For those who want, there's also the Teleférico de Benalmádena: a cable car that takes you up Calamorro mountain, from which you can enjoy incredible panoramic views of the coast and surrounding mountains.
The historic center of Benalmádena, a picturesque Andalusian village that retains its traditional charm, with whitewashed houses, narrow streets, and charming little squares.

20/10 Boarding in Benalmadena (Spain), Puerto Marina
    Day 1: Departure from Benalmádena
Duration: Preparation and departure in the morning.
Activities: Final boat check, making sure you have all the necessary supplies (water, food, fuel, safety equipment, etc.). Depart early in the morning to take advantage of favorable weather conditions.
Final destination of the day: Marbella or Estepona (about 15-20 nautical miles, 3-4 hours sailing). These locations are excellent for a first rest and can offer safe moorings and restaurants.
    Day 2: Marbella - Gibraltar
    Duration: 8-10 hours of navigation.
    Distance: Approximately 40-45 nautical miles.
Activity: Leave Marbella and sail along the coast, heading towards Gibraltar. The passage through the Strait of Gibraltar is spectacular and rich in history.
Final destination: Gibraltar, where you can stop for a visit and some rest. Make sure you have permission to cross the strait and respect navigation regulations.
Day 3: Gibraltar - Tangier (Morocco)
    Duration: 4-6 hours of navigation.
    Distance: Approximately 20-25 nautical miles.
Activity: After crossing the Strait of Gibraltar, set sail for Tangier. Even though you'll be sailing in international waters, it's always a good idea to check maritime regulations.
Final destination: Tangier, a charming city in Morocco, where you can make a stop. Even if you won't stay long, you can explore a bit and refuel the boat.
    Day 4: Tangier - Agadir
    Duration: 10-12 hours of navigation.
    Distance: Approximately 120-130 nautical miles.
Activity: Departure from Tangier and sailing along the Moroccan coast southwards, towards Agadir.
Final destination: Agadir, where you can stop for fuel and relaxation. Be careful when navigating the coast, as some areas can be difficult.
Day 5: Agadir - Lanzarote (approach)
    Duration: 10-12 hours of navigation.
    Distance: Approximately 130 nautical miles.
Activity: Prepare for a long open sea voyage, crossing the Alboran Sea and approaching the Canary Islands. This will be a fairly long day at sea, but the views and freedom of the sea will make it memorable.
Final destination: Lanzarote, probably arriving in the evening or morning of the following day.
Day 6-7: Lanzarote - Relax and explore
Activities: Take the time to explore Lanzarote, one of the most fascinating Canary Islands, famous for its volcanic landscapes, beaches, and natural parks. You can visit Timanfaya National Park, the Cueva de los Verdes, and relax in the crystal-clear waters.
    Day 8-9: Lanzarote - Fuerteventura
    Duration: 4-6 hours of navigation.
    Distance: Approximately 40 nautical miles.
Activities: If you want to extend your adventure, you can take a short sail to Fuerteventura, Lanzarote's neighboring island, which offers wide beaches and incredible scenery. Spend a couple of days exploring there.
    Day 10: Return to Lanzarote
Activity: Return to Lanzarote, taking your time for a leisurely sail. You can choose to stop at other bays and coves along the way. Return to the island to complete your itinerary.
30/10 Disembarkation in Lanzarote (Canary Islands).

The sailing experience with Giampiero (aka Giampi) and Raffi can best be described as wonderfully seductive. Every single place was a constant discovery that truly replenished our spirits. The experience of our captain, "Giampi," gave us a sense of serenity during our sailing. Moreover, Giampi's friendliness, combined with that of Raffi, allowed us to enjoy every day of our holiday with great ease.

It was a wonderful trip! Everything was perfectly organized: the sailing, the overnight stops at anchor, the tender transfers to visit all the villages.
All this was accompanied by the kindness of "Giampi" and "Raffi," who pampered us in every way and made us feel at ease, thanks to their experience. An attentive, punctual, and expert captain and a highly professional assistant who were impeccably dedicated to the tour, the boat, the food, and all of us, making us feel truly on vacation, with little stories and interesting facts that made the trip unforgettable. All this was done with respect for the sea, our attitudes and habits, and with respect for the moments of silence, as well as those of playfulness, that a vacation always requires. A perfect team, in perfect balance.
The boat is beautiful, always tidy and clean, and with a story to tell.
And finally, truly enchanting beaches and views, in a week of fortunate weather.
We couldn't have asked for better advice for our trip and we hope to be able to repeat it soon in another destination!
