Day by day itinerary:
Monday:
Boarding at the port of Trapani from 6 p.m. Once we have settled in and have received the navigation and safety explanations, we will have dinner and go for a walk around this lively city, built on a narrow peninsula and with a historic center that is worth visiting.
Tuesday:
After breakfast we will set sail for the island of Favignana. We will anchor in Cala Rossa, a bay with turquoise waters where we can take our first swim of the day.
Depending on the weather, we will sleep anchored in the quiet coves of the south of the island or in the small port on the north coast.
Wednesday:
We will set sail mid-morning to sail and practice maneuvers to the remote and high island of Maretimo, we will anchor at the foot of the Punta Troia peninsula from which we can enjoy an impressive panorama. Maretimo is the perfect place to enjoy swimming and nature in its purest state.
Thursday:
This day we will sail to Levanzo to anchor near the small port with waters so transparent that it seems that the boats are suspended in the air. In addition to taking a walk through the pine forests by the sea and enjoying a swim, we can go by boat to visit the important cave paintings of the Grotta del Genovese.
Friday:
After swimming we will set sail for nearby Sicily. We will coast north with many chances of enjoying favorable winds until we round San Vito lo Capo, the northwest tip of Sicily and anchor in front of the beach and the fishing port where we will spend the night.
Saturday:
In the morning we will anchor and take a swim in Scopello, one of the most beautiful coves in Sicily, then we will sail to Castellamare, an authentic village hanging over the bay, to moor at the foot of the walls. In the afternoon we can take an excursion to Segesta, one of the best preserved Greek temples of Magna Graecia, located in a beautiful mountain setting.
Sunday:
We will set sail in the morning to the east to cross the gulf to the protected natural area of the Delle Femmine Islands, where we will stop for lunch and a swim. In the afternoon, after a final anchorage near Mondello, we will moor in La Cala, the old port of Palermo, next to the historic center of one of the most authentic and vital cities in the Mediterranean.
