Take the Bridge Sailor course in Malaga to obtain this approved professional certification.

The program complies with Regulation II / 4 of the STCW Convention and Section A-II / 4 of the Training Code, which is necessary for all seamen who are to be part of a navigational watch on merchant ships.

The objective of the course is to obtain the necessary knowledge about the nomenclature and definitions on board in the command bridge and deck of the ship. Steering a ship, security guard and guard service. Emergencies and use of safety equipment. Technical maritime English.

It is aimed at civilian vessel crews, with the exception of fishing vessels.

This certificate, in addition to the accreditation of having carried out a minimum boarding period of 6 months exercising professional services, will allow you to govern, for commercial purposes, boats of less than 10m in length with an adequate power to the boat and transport a maximum of 12 passengers operating within inland waters.

Requirements to obtain the certificate:
- Be over 18 years old
- Be a Spanish citizen
- Be in possession of the Basic Training Certificate in Maritime Safety
- Pass the theoretical and practical tests
- Pass a medical examination at the Social Institute of the Navy
- Prove a period of embarkation of at least six months on civil vessels with a tonnage greater than 10 GT.
