El curso de Formación Sanitaria Específica Inicial aportará al alumnado conocimientos básicos e imprescindibles necesarios para poder responder de forma rápida con toda seguridad y autonomía a las urgencias y emergencias médicas más frecuentes que se pueden producir en la mar.

Se imparte de manera presencial en Barcelona y te permitirá actualizar el certificado de Especialidad Marítima homologado por el Instituto Social de la Marina (ISM) y refrendado por la Organización Marítima Internacional (OMI).

El curso va dirigido a todos los Capitanes, Pilotos, Jefes y Oficiales de Máquinas, Patrones que tengan que encargarse de la guardia de navegación de embarcaciones obligadas a llevar el Botiquín C, según el que se dispone en el Real Decreto 258/1999. de 12 de febrero. También es obligatorio para obtener el curso de Patrón Profesional de Embarcaciones de Recreo (PPER) y el Patrón Portuario.

El programa se ajusta a la normativa oficial del Orden PRE/646/2004 de 5 de marzo cumpliendo con el Código de Formación del Convenio STCW-78. su contenido figura en la Sección A-VI/4, Cuadro A-VI/4-1 del Código de Formación.

    EL CURSO INCLUYE:
    - Material didáctico.

    TEMARIO:
    - Examen del paciente Asfixia y parada cardíaca.
    - Tratamiento de hemorragias, heridas y quemaduras.
    - Tratamiento de esguinces, luxaciones y fracturas.
    - Transporte de heridos.
    - Administración de medicamentos.
    - Consulta médica por radio.

    REQUISITOS:
    Estar en posesión del certificado del curso expedido por el Instituto Social de la Marina. Los cursos de actualización deberán realizarse antes de que finalice el periodo de validez del certificado de formación sanitaria específica. Este certificado tendrá una validez de cinco años. Los certificados de formación sanitaria específica SÓLO se podrán actualizar dos veces. Pasados los cinco años después de realizar la segunda actualización, será necesario realizar otra vez el curso completo.

    The teachers are good, especially the nurse. The practices were good, although the material was destroyed and many things were too broken to use.
    In the classroom, we only received the manual in PDF, we asked for paper but they were not given. In the middle of summer the air conditioning did not work well, and there was a lack of air in the classroom.
