The professional nautical certificate for Fast Rescue Boats is aimed at those captains, officers and sailors or other crew members who are assigned duties in these fast rescue boats on ships that are equipped with them.

The Fast Rescue Boat course lasts 16 hours, with 9 theoretical and 7 practical. The training enables the student to launch, handle, search and maintain fast rescue boats in different circumstances and meteorological conditions.

    Course objectives:

    The purpose of the course will be to train the student to achieve the following skills:

    2. Take charge of the fast rescue boat, with the equipment that is normally installed, during its launching and recovery.
    3. Take charge of a fast rescue boat after it has been launched.
    4. Run the engine of a fast rescue boat.
