Hello,



I'm Gustavo, from Portugal. Lover of the sea, quiet and hardworking. Eager to continue learning about sailing and to meet new people with interesting stories and life experiences.

I spent six weeks as a volunteer aboard the Galeón Andalucía, where I learned about navigation, maintenance, communications, emergencies, cooking, cleaning and guarding. We sailed from Calais across the Cantabrian Sea, Galicia and Portugal to the Mediterranean, with a seven-day non-stop voyage.



Then I sailed from La Línea to Lanzarote on a family sailboat for five days. I crossed the Atlantic from Cape Verde to Martinique, consolidating knowledge and acquiring new ones.



Later I sailed from Barbate to Tunis, with a stopover in Sardinia, on a ten-day voyage. I have also taken practical sailing courses.



Although I always have a lot to learn, I believe that I can be a useful, responsible and adaptable deck crew member, able to integrate into life on board and bring enthusiasm, work and companionship to the crew.
