Japanese sailor with ASA training who enjoys practical, hands-on sailing and learning from experienced crews. I am especially interested in offshore sailing, passage making, navigation, seamanship and gaining more experience on longer international voyages.

I was first introduced to sailing as a child, when my father and his friends took me sailing several times. More recently, I completed ASA sailing training through ASA 104 Bareboat Cruising, as well as ASA 105 Coastal Navigation, in Japan. My practical training has included sail handling, helming, docking, anchoring, navigation and passage planning. I currently have approximately 194 nautical miles documented in my sailing logbook. Most of my recent experience has been coastal sailing in Japan on cruising sailboats.
