The Salt Route is much more than a regatta: it is the mythical journey to Ibiza during Easter, a perfect combination of sport, adventure and festive atmosphere.

We suggest that you become part of our crew to experience it from the inside. You don't need to be a professional sailor; we are looking for people who want to participate, learn and enjoy the sea as a team. You will actively navigate: sail trimming, maneuvering, guarding, strategy and decision-making. Every member adds up and every mile counts.

The experience combines the thrill of competition in the open sea with the unique atmosphere experienced in the port: arrival in Ibiza, meeting with other crews and that playful spirit that turns the regatta into something more than a sporting event.

On board you will have a fully equipped sailboat, comfortable and ready for the voyage, with cabins, full kitchen and air conditioning to guarantee rest after each day of sailing.

It is ideal both for those who want to start out in the world of regattas and for sailors looking for an intense, sporty and fun experience.

It's not just going to Ibiza. It's navigating to it, competing, sharing and celebrating it.

Seats are limited and the crew is trained in advance to ensure the best coordination on board.

TUESDAY — Boarding and crew training.

Boarding in the afternoon in Valencia (La Marina de Valencia) for those who can join that day.

Presentation of the crew, layout of cabins, ship review and first safety briefing.

First contact with the team: we started working as a crew.

WEDNESDAY — Valencia — Dénia Crossing.

10:00 a.m. — Departure to Dénia. Active sailing day to begin to coordinate: trimming, roles, maneuvers and guards.

Arrival in the afternoon at the Real Club Náutico de Dénia.

Possibility of boarding in Dénia starting at 18:00 h for those who have not been able to leave Valencia or tomorrow on Wednesday in Valencia

21:00 h — Official welcome buffet dinner for the regatta with the rest of the crews. First contact with the festive atmosphere of the event.

THURSDAY — Race Day: heading to Ibiza.

Early breakfast at the club.

10:00 a.m. — Meeting of employers and last strategic adjustments.

Until 12:00 p.m. — Last boarding opportunity for lagging crew members.

14:00 h — Official departure of the Salt Route to Sant Antoni de Portmany (Ibiza).

The most exciting journey begins: sailing on the open sea, strategy, night guards and coordinated work of the entire team. We will experience the competition from the inside.

FRIDAY — Arrival to Ibiza.

Expected arrival at the Sant Antoni Yacht Club throughout the day.

Reception for sailors in the regatta village.

Festive atmosphere in port, meeting with other crews and celebration after the voyage.

SATURDAY — Ibiza and award ceremony.

10:00 a.m. — End of the arrival time limit.

Free day to enjoy the island, rest or explore Ibiza.

8:00 p.m. — Official trophy ceremony.

Closing dinner-buffet with all the crews.

SUNDAY — Return trip.

Early morning departure for Valencia. Return navigation with a cast of guards and last trip as a team.

Other information

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (english and spanish)

The boat has heating/air conditioning

The crew speaks English, guest who speaks any language are welcome

The price is in a double cabin and includes boat rental, professional skipper, boat and crew insurance and bed linen

A common fund is made between all crew members for on-board food/drinks and fuel. Food and drinks outside the ship are at the expense of each crew member.

The bathtub is large, equipped with high-density seats, down cushions and an extendable bimini with a transparent anti-corrosion hood. In addition, it has an elegant translucent perimeter parasol that protects from the sun without losing visibility.

On deck, life is enjoyed to the fullest with two solariums and a practical roll-up awning in Botavara. The teak finish, the adjustable LED lighting, the plasma TV, the microwave and a full kitchen set take the comfort experience to another level.
