Mini version of the Salt Route from Valencia

The Ruta de la Sal Regatta is a popular regatta (no experience required) for owners and crews, similar to popular races, which has been held since 1989 during Easter and has become a must-see for travellers to Ibiza every year during Easter.

This is a fun, festive and sporting event, ideal for enjoying a different Easter holiday by participating in a regatta.

Boarding in Valencia on Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning. Possibility of boarding on Thursday in Denia.

Disembarkation: in Valencia on Sunday afternoon or Monday morning.

Salt Route Regatta route: Valencia, Dénia, San Antonio de Portamany in Ibiza and return to Valencia.

Plan

TUESDAY
In the afternoon embarkation of the crew (those who can) in the Royal Navy of Valencia

WEDNESDAY
Early in the morning, around 9, we set sail from Valencia towards Denia to arrive in the afternoon. Those crew members who, due to their work, did not embark in Valencia, can embark in Dénia from approximately 6:00 p.m. at the Real Club Náutico de Dénia in the port of Dénia, Alicante.
9:00 p.m. – Welcome dinner-buffet with Gramona for all the crews in the club tent

THURSDAY
Early in the morning, breakfast in the tent of the Real Club Náutico de Dénia.
10:00 a.m. – Pattern meeting
2:00 p.m. - Start of the regatta to Sant Antoni de Portmany in Ibiza.
Late crew members have until 12 to board.

FRIDAY
In the afternoon/evening 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. – Reception for sailors at the regatta village, foreseeable arrival of the regatta at the San Antonio Yacht Club on the island of Ibiza.

SATURDAY
10:00 a.m. – End of time limit. Free day to visit the island.
12:00h – Press conference with the winners of the regatta
8:00 p.m. – Trophy ceremony
NEXT – Closing buffet dinner with Gramona for all crews.

SUNDAY
At dawn we set sail on our sailboat bound for Valencia.

MONDAY
You can spend the night on the boats and disembark on Monday morning. End of the trip and return home.

Other information

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

It is necessary to have a federation license (basically to have insurance) to be able to carry out the regatta with a cost of approximately €25. We can take care of managing it ourselves and you can give us the money in hand the same day of the regatta.

Provisions are not included either (boat of about €35 per person).
