Day by day itinerary:
Saturday:
Boarding from 6pm. Once we are settled on board and have given the necessary explanations, we will go for a walk along the seafront.
Sunday:
We will sail to the protected anchorages of the nearby island of Vulcano to enjoy our first bath and the thermal mud. In the afternoon we will climb the volcano to admire the crater, the sulfur fumaroles and the sunset over the islands.
Monday:
After breakfast we will sail to the island of Lipari to anchor near the tip of Sparanello with absolutely transparent waters and a white sandy bottom perfect for swimming. In the evening we will approach the town, under an impressive walled acropolis presided over by the great cathedral. It is worth strolling through the alleys and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of Marina Corta, the old port and fishing district.
Tuesday:
We will sail north to Panarea to have lunch and swim in the virgin coves of the island or in the islets that surround it. In the afternoon we will sail to the island of Stromboli, a volcanic cone of almost a thousand meters with constant volcanic activity. After dinner, we will anchor around the island to contemplate the nightly spectacle of the volcano's lava splashes falling through the Sciara di fuoco and we will continue sailing all night crossing the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Wednesday:
In the mid-morning we will stop at the beautiful coves and sheltered beaches between the cape of Palinuro and Punta Licosa. In the afternoon we will moor in Agropoli, a pleasant port with all the services near Castellabate, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and where Welcome to the South was filmed.
Thursday:
We will cross the Gulf of Salerno to the nearby Amalfi Coast. Weather permitting, we will anchor for a swim in front of the Greek temples of Paestum and continue to Cetara, an authentic and not at all touristy fishing village with characteristic houses climbing the slope.
Friday:
This day we will spend sailing along the Amalfi Coast, enjoying the impressive views from the sea and anchoring in coves protected from the north wind and under the cliffs of the island of Capri. We will enter the Bay of Naples to moor in Castellamare in Stabia, at the foot of Vesuvius.
Saturday:
Disembarkation until 10am.
The skipper may substantially vary the itinerary depending on weather conditions and group preferences.
