Sailing trip along the Abra and Bizkaia coast.

Enjoy a unique experience at sea sailing along the spectacular Basque coast. We will depart from the Abra to explore a privileged environment, where cliffs, wild nature and the impressive Flysch of Bizkaia become the protagonists of an unforgettable day.

During the voyage you will not only be a passenger: you will have the opportunity to actively participate in sailing, helping to maneuver the boat and feeling first-hand what it is to sail. An authentic experience, both for beginners and for those who already love the sea.

We will combine this voyage with moments of active sailing with others of relaxation, to finally return to the base port also by sail, thus completing a round day in contact with the sea.

An experience designed to disconnect, learn, enjoy the environment and experience the sea in a different way.

⚓ Departure from the port.

Reception on board and brief introduction before setting sail to start our day at sea.

⛵ Sailing and learning.

We will start the journey sailing on the Abra. During the tour, those who wish to do so can participate in boat maneuvers and learn basic navigation concepts in a practical and fun way.

Route along the coast of Bizkaia.

We will enjoy the coastal landscape, the cliffs and the formations of the Flysch from a unique perspective.

️ Anchorage in Gorliz.

We will stop to anchor in calm waters.

Snacking and free time.

Time to relax, have a small snack on board and enjoy the surroundings of the Bay of Plencia and Gorliz.

☀️ Bathrooms.

Time to take a dip in the sea and enjoy a refreshing experience.

⛵ Sailing back to sail.

We will resume sailing to the base port, whenever conditions permit, sailing.

Passage under the Bizkaia Hanging Bridge.

If the wind and conditions are good, we will take a nice walk under this emblematic bridge, one of the most special moments of the tour.

⚓ Mooring in port and farewell.

We will end the experience with the mooring at the port, where we will close a great day at sea... hoping to see you back on board very soon!

Other information

The skipper for this activity speaks english and spanish. To participate you must speak one of the languages spoken on board.

You should wear:

- Footwear with a rubber sole that does not slip, preferably without a black sole.

- Warm clothing as the temperature in the sea may be lower than it seems from land, especially if there is wind.

- Sunglasses to protect you from water reflections and prolonged exposure to the sun.

- Sunscreen to prevent burns, even if the day is cloudy.

- Cap or visor to protect you from direct sun.

- Small towel or spare clothes in case of splashes, especially if the tour includes approaches to the coast or sailing in more hectic areas.

We recommend wearing several layers of clothing, so that they can adapt to weather conditions by removing or adding garments as necessary, thus avoiding the discomfort of being cold due to not wearing enough shelter.

These recommendations help to ensure a comfortable, safe and pleasant experience on the sailboat, allowing you to enjoy the ride without inconvenience.

A safe and comfortable boat. This is a Jeanneau Sun Odissey 40.30, built in France by the renowned Jeanneau shipyard and designed by Daniel Andrieu, a naval architect with extensive experience. The hull is made of fiberglass and the deck is made of Burmese teak.

The ship features a modern and elegant interior design. The cabins and common areas are decorated with high-quality materials, creating a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere.

The cabins are spacious and comfortable, as are the common areas where guests can relax and enjoy their time on board.

Equipped with state-of-the-art navigation and safety systems, the sailboat ensures a safe and worry-free journey.

Fue un momento maravilloso para mis amigos y para mí, con Edorta como el anfitrión perfecto. el día era hermoso y con el viento en la cara, cabalgamos las olas con mucho placer. en el camino de regreso nos detuvimos para nadar en el Golfo de Vizcaya, y para un buen almuerzo preparado en el barco que consiste en una ensalada y un guiso de pescador.
