From Trapani to Porto Rosa

We start in Trapani, on the west coast of Sicily, and set sail for the fascinating Lipari Islands.

As always, our loyal ship dog Mika is on board, making the journey sociable and entertaining.

Suitable for: Sailing enthusiasts of all ages – no prior knowledge is necessary, but joining a sail is always possible.
Maximum 4 guests on board – for a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of space on board.

Plan

Our journey will take us past crystal-clear waters, impressive volcanic landscapes, and charming harbor towns. Highlights of the route:

•⁠ ⁠Vulcano – impressive sulfur springs, hot sandy beaches and spectacular views from the volcano.
• Lipari – colorful old town, historic fortresses and lively piazzas invite you to stroll around.
• Salina, Panarea & Stromboli – unique nature, idyllic bays and the opportunity to observe the eruptions of the Stromboli volcano at night.

Between the islands, we anchor in tranquil bays, enjoy swimming in the sea, snorkeling excursions, and Mediterranean cuisine in small harbor restaurants. Each day offers a mix of sailing, relaxation, and exploration.

From the Aeolian Islands, we then set course for Catania, on the east coast of Sicily, passing lava fields and dramatic coastal landscapes. Our destination port offers the perfect opportunity to explore the city with its baroque buildings, vibrant markets, and culinary specialties.

Other information

The skipper for this activity speaks english and german. To participate you must speak one of the languages spoken on board.

A notice:
The following additional costs (ship's kitty) will be incurred during the trip.
You should expect to pay approximately €250 per person per week for port fees, provisions on board, final cleaning and fuel, which is charged according to consumption.

According to maritime custom, the skipper's meals are provided from the ship's kitty. This applies generally on board and whenever the entire crew decides to eat in a restaurant, not just a few individuals.

Important!
For mile-long and one-way trips, weather-related delays can always occur if it is necessary to wait out the wind and weather conditions along the way.
Please allow plenty of time and ideally leave the return flight open.

Boat details

Fleet Lagoon 440. Equipped for long-distance cruising.
In addition to 2 wind generators and 5 solar panels, we also have a watermaker on board that produces about 30-40 liters of fresh water per hour.

The pantry is also equipped with all necessary cooking utensils.
Among other things, 2 refrigerators, a 3 burner gas stove and a reverse osmosis fresh water system.

We take a maximum of 6 guests on our trips.

Great sailing trip through the Croatian islands.
As a couple, we spent a week with four other (previously unknown) people on Chtis's catamaran.
It was a fantastic trip with great weather, a fantastic crew and a top skipper.
