Sailing holiday on Elba Island - 4 days with a hostess

A wonderful 4-day sailing experience around Elba, embarking and disembarking in Portoferraio. This is the perfect way to discover the island's beauty without long crossings and with more time to enjoy the sea and its bays.

We'll sail into the heart of the Cetacean Sanctuary, enjoying sailing, swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing. With a little luck, we'll spot dolphins, turtles, sunfish, and maybe even a whale.

On board, you can try your hand at the helm and learn the basics of navigation, try trolling, or have fun with the two available SUPs. Nights will be spent primarily at anchor, allowing you to fully experience the atmosphere of life on board and reach land by tender whenever you wish.

The galley will be on board, and the crew will prepare meals during the cruise. Two dinners ashore are planned, one upon arrival and one before disembarkation. An authentic and relaxing way to experience a sailing holiday on Elba Island, surrounded by nature, sea, and adventure.

Plan

Embarking/disembarking from Portoferraio offers the advantage of allowing you to spend more time exploring the island's beauty, avoiding long crossings and thus reducing fuel costs. Furthermore, in case of adverse weather, you have a better chance of making the most of the four days.

The program includes boarding in the evening at 7:00 PM, cabin check-in, and dinner at a restaurant/pizzeria. Departure is the following morning. The return to port is scheduled the evening before disembarkation, with dinner at a restaurant/pizzeria. Disembarkation takes place on the morning of the fifth day by 9:00 AM. (Breakfast ashore).
During the cruise, all nights will be spent at anchor. We will still have the option of going ashore with the tender, but only in case of adverse weather or upon request will we consider stopping in port.

All meals are provided on board and prepared by the crew, with the exception of those listed above.
You'll find the galley already on board, based on the menu we'll send you when you book, including still and sparkling water. You'll need to provide your own alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (juices and other drinks) based on your needs.

We'll sail through the heart of the Cetacean Sanctuary, so if you keep a close eye on the horizon and are lucky, you might spot dolphins, turtles, sunfish, and maybe even a whale.

During the day, you can sail, try your hand at steering and maneuvering, troll, and during stops, dive, swim, snorkel, paddle with the two SUPs available, or simply sunbathe.

Other information

The skipper for this activity speaks french and italian. To participate you must speak one of the languages spoken on board.

Rates include: Skipper, Hostess, third-party insurance, meal preparation, galley purchase and storage, tender with motor, SUP, final cleaning.

Rates do not include: Galley (including food for the crew), Stops in ports, marinas and buoy parks, Stops in the port of embarkation and disembarkation
These expenses will be reimbursed through a common fund that will be created on the evening of boarding.

These expenses will be managed through a common fund, to be paid upon boarding, for an indicative amount of approximately €150–250 per person per week.

Boat details

Measuring 15.35 meters long and 4.80 meters wide, our boat offers four cabins, each with a private bathroom. Of these, three are for guests—two with double beds and one with a bunk bed—while the fourth cabin is reserved for the crew. Each cabin is equipped with a USB port for charging cell phones and a small fan.

Outside, the awning creates a pleasant shaded area in the cockpit, where a fold-down table allows for comfortable lunch or dinner. The aft swim platform, easily accessible thanks to the twin helms, offers a comfortable and safe access to the sea, while the adjacent locker provides storage for fins, masks, and everything you need for a fantastic swim.

At the bow there is a cabin used as a warehouse and on-board workshop, always ensuring safety during navigation.
