A week of catamaran sailing among the San Blas Islands in Panama, discovering tropical islands, crystal-clear waters, white-sand beaches, and seabeds teeming with marine life. Day 1 – Welcome aboard and first swim

Boarding and settling in on the catamaran. After a short briefing on the vacation and life on board, it's time to dive into the crystal-clear waters of the San Blas Islands. Dinner on board and the first night at anchor under the stars.

Day 2 – Chichimé, snorkeling and tropical beaches

After breakfast, we sail to Chichimé or one of the nearby islands. We'll have time to explore the seabed by snorkeling, swim in the turquoise waters, and relax on the beach. A day dedicated to the sea and discovering the pristine nature of the San Blas archipelago.

Day 3 – Sailing to Cayo Holandés

We leave the anchorage and sail towards Cayo Holandés or another part of the archipelago, chosen based on wind and sea conditions. Sailing is an integral part of the experience: it allows us to experience San Blas from the sea and reach quieter spots, far from the busier routes.

Day 4 – Water, kayaking and relaxation

A day to be enjoyed at your own pace. We can snorkel, explore the coast by kayak, and relax on board or on the beach. When conditions permit, you can participate in an introduction to freediving or a breathwork session, to experience your connection with the sea in an even more mindful way.

Day 5 – Lagoons, islands and local culture

We continue our cruise to the San Blas Islands, exploring a lagoon or a new island in the archipelago. This will also be an opportunity to learn more about the area and the lives of the local communities, always respecting traditions and the environment.

Day 6 – Snorkeling and a quiet anchorage

Another day dedicated to the sea. After a snorkeling session and a bit of sailing, we'll reach a quieter anchorage where we can slow down, swim, read, relax on the catamaran, and enjoy the tropical scenery.

Day 7 – Last sailing and final dinner

We begin our return journey, taking advantage of the last hours of sailing between the islands. We'll have some final swims in the crystal-clear waters of San Blas and time to enjoy the sea before our final dinner on board.

Day 8 – Breakfast and disembarkation

After breakfast, it's time to say goodbye to the catamaran and conclude this sailing vacation in the San Blas Islands.

Most guests arrive at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City. To start your vacation without rushing, we recommend arriving at least a day before departure and spending a night in the city, perhaps in the charming Casco Viejo, Panama City's historic center.

On the day of embarkation, departure is scheduled for early morning. A 4x4 vehicle will take you from Panama City to the Caribbean coast, where you'll continue your journey aboard a typical local Guna boat bound for the Ikigai catamaran.

Arrival on board is usually scheduled for late morning, although times may vary depending on weather and sea conditions, as well as local logistics.

Transfers are not included in the vacation price. We'll help you organize and coordinate them with reliable local suppliers, making your arrival in the San Blas Islands as easy as possible.
