10-Day Cruise: From the Dodecanese to Milos with Hostess on Board

A unique 10-day, 9-night crossing that unites the two souls of Greece.
The itinerary is strategically extended to 10 days to ensure the flexibility needed to deal with the August Meltemi.
This allows us to avoid extremely long or stressful voyages as much as possible, balancing the journey with prolonged or restful stops in sheltered bays, even if the wind blows strongly for days.

This route is a journey through authenticity and history:
• Dodecanese: Starting from Kos towards the authentic Kalymnos and the solitary Levitha (almost deserted island with dinner under the stars).
• Eastern Cyclades: We reach the majestic Amorgos (Hozoviotissa Monastery) and the idyllic Small Cyclades (Koufonissi) with their white villages and crystal clear waters.
• Central/South Cyclades: Strategic stops in sheltered bays in South Naxos, with passages to authentic islands such as Ios and isolated Sikinos.
• The Spectacular Arrival: We reach the volcanic arch: Folegandros (cliffs and alleys) and the triumphal arrival in Milos (caves, colorful beaches and unique bays).

What to expect from this itinerary:

Choosing a 10-day itinerary, rather than the traditional week, is a crucial precaution for us in August. This extra margin is crucial to limit the need for excessively long or stressful sailings should the Meltemi blow strongly for several days. It's safe to assume that some days of sailing will be "tough" or more demanding, but our planning allows us to manage these moments effectively, prioritizing safety and comfort.

Plan

A strategic 10-day crossing connecting the Dodecanese and the Cyclades. The extended duration is designed to ensure maximum flexibility and safety in the event of a strong Meltemi wind.

Beginning of the Dodecanese: Departure from Kos towards the authentic Kalymnos and the almost deserted island of Levitha (dinner under the stars).
Small Cyclades and Far East: We reach the majestic Amorgos (Hozoviotissa Monastery) and the idyllic Koufonissi (crystal clear waters and white villages).
Southern Route: We continue with strategic stops in sheltered bays in South Naxos and touch authentic and less crowded islands such as Ios (secret coves) and the isolated Sikinos.
Final Volcanic Arch: The final stages take us to the cliffs of Folegandros and the exciting arrival in Milos (passing through Kimolos and Polyagos), famous for its caves and colorful beaches.

Other information

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (english and italian)

Available places: 6 in 3 double cabins (2 aft and 1 owner's cabin forward)
The generously sized bow cabin (available on request) has a supplement of €60

On-board expenses:

There is no common fund but a flat rate of €250.00 (per person for the 10 days to be paid in cash upon boarding) is required for the cost of the galley which includes:
- Breakfasts
- Lunches
- 4 dinners on board
- Non-alcoholic drinks, beer, and 4 bottles of white wine
- Fuel
- Mooring fees
- Water and gas

Additional bottles of wine, prosecco and spirits are not included in this fee and must be requested before departure or purchased during the cruise in agreement with the other crew members (cost varies between €10 and €50 per person).

Boat details

Our sailboat is a bit like our home and is particularly comfortable and habitable, there are 3 large double cabins available to guests: an incredibly generously sized master cabin in the bow and two double aft cabins, a cabin is reserved for the crew with bunk beds, there are also 2 large bathrooms and a cozy dinette that can comfortably accommodate 8/10 people.
Outside, it offers a comfortable cockpit protected by a sprayhood and awning, seats equipped with cushions and an extendable table that allow you to enjoy lunches and dinners at anchor. The stern swimming platform is equipped with a shower with hot and cold water and at your disposal SUPs, inflatables , masks and fins.

In 2019 our sailboat underwent a refit becoming even more comfortable and welcoming:
Inside, new cushions, reading lights and USB sockets in each cabin to charge your devices.
Outside, new sprayhood, awning, cockpit cushions and very comfortable hammock and sunbathing mattresses in the bow.
Complete equipment with CD stereo, GPS, VHF, dinghy with outboard engine, autopilot, electric windlass, hot water, solar panels.
