Snorkeling will allow you to admire the underwater cliffs and numerous fish. Anchoring and lunch in Scandola, then swimming and departure to Calvi. Calvi, for centuries under Genoese domination, claims that the soul of Christopher Columbus still lives in the city. The docks are now filled with lively bars and restaurants. South of Calvi, the landscapes become wild, rugged and cut into brilliant red granite. Sailing is the best way to discover the Scandola Nature Reserve and the beautiful coastal views of Corsica. The volcanic origin of the island, as well as wind and water erosion, created impressive landscapes: steep cliffs, red rocks and deserted coves. Further south, you will discover Girolata, a small fishing village, one of the last places on the coast inaccessible by road and still inhabited. Girolata has a dreamlike quality highlighted by the bright red of the surrounding rocks. A short strip of stony beach and some houses are dominated by an imposing watchtower, built by the Genoese later in the 17th century in the form of a small castle on a cliff overlooking the cove. Nautical activities and anchoring for the night in Cala Muretta or Cala Vecchia.
