A week's holiday in Menorca on a sailing boat

Once again we are going to enjoy the experience of sailing, feel the breeze while we smell the sea and get closer to the blue of the beaches of Menorca.

We will once again discover every corner of the island and its incredible coves of white sand and turquoise blue water. We will not be disappointed with the boat with which we will sail on a 14-meter-long sailboat, four cabins, two bathrooms and a lot of good moments that will whisper to you while you are on it and will recharge you with positive energy.

Let yourself be carried away and guided by our professional skipper, who will introduce you to the wonderful world of the sea, our blue. You do not need experience in sailing, kayaking or snorkeling. You just want to have a good time and enjoy your vacation with the rest of the crew.

Plan

•Saturday

We met at the Port Olimpic in Barcelona at 11am. Presentations are made. The skipper assigned to your trip will explain all the details and we organize the joint purchase that will be delivered on the boat itself, in addition to food and drink. We will distribute the cabins and set sail for Menorca! The big blue and our beloved Mediterranean Sea are waiting for us! , we will enjoy the sunset sailing through the immensity of the stars, and with luck a dolphin will come to greet us.

• Sunday

After the crossing we will rest in “Cala Pregonda”, you will love it. We will spend the day there, and at dusk we will head to “Fornells” and if we go down to town to enjoy a good stew and enjoy a wine from the area that reminds us that we are on vacation.

• Monday

In the morning and after a well-deserved rest, being aware that we are already on the island, we will visit cove “Es Pilar”, located inside a fishing reserve where snorkeling is a gift from the god of the sea, Poseidon. And whoever prefers can go down to the beach; swimming or accompanied by the skipper in the auxiliary. After the table and nap for others, we will return to the candles and go to anchor to sleep in “Cala Algaiarens”.

•Tuesday

The next day we will head to Ciutadella, a port city, famous for its old town and medieval streets, also full of stories that can be whispered to you as you walk through it. In it we will spend part of the day and night. Not before discovering a very special corner “Cala Mort”.

• Wednesday

We leave the north for good and head south to discover “Cala Escorxada”, and a very unique place to sleep: “Cala Ses Coves”.

• Thursday

Last day on the island, and we can't leave without visiting the most famous beaches, for many the most beautiful “Macarella” and “Turqueta” from which at nightfall we will head to Barcelona watching the sunset through our port walls, and the orange colors that the sky will give us to leave a wonderful week engraved in our pupils.

• Friday

Once back in Barcelona during the journey, we will once again enjoy the immensity of the blue, the beautiful sun at dawn for early risers, swimming on the high seas and, hopefully, a visit of dolphins and turtles. We will arrive at Port Olimpic (Barcelona) in the early afternoon to end a week that you will never forget getting off the sailboat and already thinking about the next trip to enjoy again.

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (spanish)

Travel conditions:

The price includes:

Space in a shared double cabin, professional skipper, mooring at the base port.

The price does not include

Expenses on board the sailboat. Food, drink, diesel, skipper support, and possible stays in port outside the base port, bedding and final cleaning. Any other unspecified service.

Required Extras:” Comfort Pack”

The comfort pack includes: lunches and dinners on board (catering for 4 days), cleaning, bed linen, paddle surf and auxiliary boat, with a fixed cost of 175€ per crew member. This will be paid on the day of shipment to the organization

Other expenses on board the sailboat:

Purchase of the supermarket, diesel and possible stays in port or buoys, to be divided between the participants of the trip. For this concept, a common fund of approximately 150€ per crew member is made.

Other expenses:

The merchant is not responsible for other expenses on board the sailboat and that are borne by the crew members. These expenses are expenses only controlled and managed by the crew members, the commercial one being totally unrelated to this management.

How do we organize meals?

For lunch on board the sailboat, we will order lunch and dinner catering for 4 days, and the rest is complemented by some food on Earth (restaurants not included in the common fund) and a purchase that we make at the supermarket and they bring us to the ship. If you need anything in particular (e.g. gluten-free foods, lactose-free milks, etc.) please let us know.

Note:

The itineraries are indicative and may vary depending on weather conditions and at the discretion of the skipper who is responsible for crew safety and other causes such as those that are beyond the control of the organization.

If you have food allergies (gluten, dairy) or are a vegetarian, let us know when you make your reservation to order the catering. Special menus will have a supplement of 20€ per person.
