We start in Ponta Delgada and sail around the islands of the Azores archipelago for a week without a fixed route; wind, weather and currents determine the route and the islands we visit.
The trip has a sporty character, long stages and long sailing days.

Plan

Our program is very sailing-heavy, but one or two half-day shore excursions are still planned.
The nature and landscape of this enchanting island world are unique.
They will explore these either together or individually.
The journey by plane is made independently, as is the organization of suitable holiday apartments for possible stays before or after the trip!

I took a sailing course for the SKS license in Croatia at the end of July / beginning of August and I am absolutely thrilled! Our sailing instructor Peter was extremely committed to ensuring that we not only understood the theory but also learned all the practical maneuvers in the shortest possible time. His passion for sailing was impressive. Despite the intensive training, we had a lot of fun and a great time. The entire organization of the course was excellent and the Croatian coast provided a breathtaking backdrop for our training. At the end of the course we took the SKS exam, which was the perfect finale to this educational and exciting week. I can recommend this course to anyone who wants to get an SKS license. Thank you for this great experience!

I booked the trip - the competent skipper - deliberately because I had taken a long "break from sailing" and my sailing skills were a little "rusty". My expectations were more than exceeded. Peter managed to get me fit and highly motivated again after a week of sailing. I was able to gain new confidence and will continue. The week was really great and so thank you very much!!!

I did the training trip for competent skippers with Peter. I learned so much this week, you can see how passionate he is about sailing ⛵️. Questions are answered at any time and after this week the learning curve has risen steeply. My conclusion: if you want to be prepared for chartering on your own, you are in the best hands here. In short, great, I would do it again anytime.
