"A whole new world opened up before the eyes on the captain's bridge. The vast horizon and the power of the ocean. Its breath was deep and slow. Waves up to 4 meters hit the starboard side. Their movement was mesmerizing in its novelty and scale. The elongated wave was starkly different from the familiar coastal ones. Its wall had not yet collapsed, allowing the catamaran to surf. The best images remained etched in the eyes. Not captured, but truly lived." - Ira Mart, participant of "Atlantic Challenge 2023"
In the spring, our fleet will embark on its regular sailing passage from the Canary Islands to the Balearic Islands, heading to our summer base in Ibiza. This year, we are set to depart from our winter base in Tenerife at the Marina Amarilla Golf. The flotilla will comprise 11 yachts and catamarans from our fleet. All boats are fully equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable and safe stay on board during the ocean crossing.
If you've recently completed training in a sailing school and want to apply your knowledge in practice, or if you're planning to start training, and if you aim to sharpen your sailing skills, accumulate miles, and challenge yourself offshore, then a transatlantic passage under the guidance of an experienced skipper is an excellent way to experience all aspects of yachting. Enjoy tranquil coastal sailing, non-stop ocean yachting, night watches, mooring in marinas, working with sails, and much more during a three-week journey. Stops in cities along the route will remind you of what it's like to walk on land.
You can also participate in the passage without special knowledge. If you're drawn to the sea and simply want to test yourself, consider booking the second leg in the Mediterranean Sea. This leg lasts a week, requires no prior experience, and includes stops in Spanish cities, for example, Almeria, Cartagena, and the island of Formentera.
