Menorca is known, and with good reason, for offering a lot of idyllic beaches and spectacular corners. To better enjoy this island and to reach some inaccessible places by car or even walking, we suggest this sailing trip.

The objective of this journey is to know Menorca, the northernmost island of the Balearic Islands and according to many people the most charming. It is the ideal destination for adventurers who want to relax combining cultural visits with coves that have little to envy those of the Caribbean, there are few such romantic places where you can get lost in Spain. As a matter of interest, UNESCO declared Menorca a Biosphere Reserve in 1993, due to its environmental variety and its natural values.

Plan
DAY 1
Meeting and meeting on board the ship in Puerto del Garraf at 10am. We will make the relevant presentations among the crew, the cabins will be distributed and the skipper will explain all the necessary details of safety and life on board. Once the presentations are made and given the details, we will organize the joint purchase of food and drink. The first meal we will do at port and we will set sail for Menorca around 3:00 pm.
At this moment we are already in the middle of the journey. The long-awaited adventure begins! We will enjoy the sunset and the starry sky in the middle of the night.

DAY 2
After the crossing we will arrive at “Cala Algaiarens” where you can take the first dip of the day. After lunch we will head to Ciutadella to get to know the city, stroll through its streets, have dinner in a restaurant and buy some food to take to the boat if necessary. We will spend the night at anchor.

DAY 3
The next morning we will move to "" Cala des Talaier "or" Cala en Turqueta "where we can eat and spend the day snorkeling and enjoy its wonderful seabed. In the afternoon we will go to “Cala Galdana” to stretch our legs around the town and spend the night.

DAY 4
When we wake up we will head to "Cala Trebalúger" where we can have breakfast on a magnificent beach hardly accessible more than on foot or by sea.
Not far away we have the "Cala Escorxada", ideal to continue the day where to eat and enjoy some refreshing baths. Without getting too late we will go to “Cala en Porter”, a charming town to visit and where we will spend the night.

DAY 5
In the morning, as early as possible, we will go to “Cales Coves”, the most beautiful and sought-after cove par excellence in all of Menorca. We will spend the day enjoying its crystal clear waters snorkeling, approaching the coast to visit the famous caves and doing some hiking route.
Without getting too late we will leave for Binibeca, where we will spend the night and stretch our legs through this charming fishing village.

DAY 6
Our end of this wonderful trip is approaching, but not before knowing the coves of "Macarella" and "Macaralleta" where we will spend noon to eat. Around 4:00 p.m. we will head back to Barcelona. We resume the journey back to enjoy the starry night again and say goodbye to this magical island of Menorca.

DAY 7
We will wake up on the high seas to be able to watch the sunrise and have breakfast while we sail. We will arrive at port around 12:00 ending this adventure that will remain in our memories as something unforgettable and wanting to repeat again.

Adventurer is the word that best defines me. Passionate about the sea and navigation, I let myself be guided by the breaths of Eolo.

    Good Morning,
I am not usually very given to give my opinion on the internet except on rare occasions and this is one of them.
The first thing to say is that when I booked the trip for my son and for me, fortunately there were no such negative comments.
And I say fortunately because having read those comments I would not have hired and I would have missed a week of a great vacation.
I read the comments two days before leaving and it scared me a lot, but since I was already paid I decided to go.
It has been a great experience with good travel companions and wonderful hosts.
We have been able to sail, seen dolphins, plankton at night, the stars as I have never seen them before, incredible coves that enjoy a totally different perspective, snorkeling wherever we docked, we have learned a lot about navigation and boats in summary good experiences.
I have missed sailing more because it is very pleasant, but the wind is what touches you.
Regarding the organizers, Fernando is a bag of knowledge always ready to explain what you ask him, in addition to being very cautious.
Montse is a charming person always attentive to the comforts of others.
With Marc, the contact has been limited to the exchange of whatsaps and some phone calls, all correct but since I do not know him personally, I can not comment more.
I suppose that on an adventure trip like this you have to be lucky and we have had it, the people who have made such negative comments did not have it and their perspective is totally different.
Without any doubt I recommend it and of course I will repeat.

Let's embark to spend a few days in Menorca since it was something we wanted to do for a long time. Due to a storm we were forced to head to Mallorca and from the moment we got there everything got worse, bad organization, and the only concern was the repair of the boat, having us sail by motor with the sailboat along the south coast of Mallorca until have your sails repaired. Me and my partner returned by ferry tired of the attitude of the organizer. The owner / skipper is a good navigator and has a lot of knowledge but his priority was his boat, of course. The general feeling I have is that I have been scammed. I am very clear that navigation in this type of voyage is totally collaborative, but we are not a group of friends who have rented a sailboat, supposedly we have hired an experience and the organization leaves much to be desired. Starting with the weather forecast.

I would never repeat an experience with Marc. It is not suitable for experiences at sea. Little nautical or meteorological knowledge, lack of empathy with clients, selfish in their decisions and a poorly educated and immature person.

There was a bad weather forecast and even so he decided to go on a journey, evidently gusts of more than 40knt of wind broke our sails and put the entire passage in vital danger. But not only that, but he was indisposed in his cabin for abusing alcohol consumption a few hours before. A colleague and I were able to weather the storm with the skipper and arrive at another port to repair the ship to continue. Through personal contacts they got them some second-hand candles that they rejected wanting to fix their own. That hampered the organization as he made us sail around Palma by motor until three days later they delivered their repaired ones. With the discomfort of motor sailing on a sailboat.
With that the day of return was made because they were not in a hurry to change them either. Half of the passage I left the ship, my companion left by plane and a couple of friends by boat. Then Marc along with his "little friend" continued already unconcerned about trying to treat the one that was left (me) and as if it did not exist they continued their journey like lovebirds locked in their cabin, being the skipper and I who took the sailboat back to the port of the Garraf, to end the trip for once and lose sight of Marc.
I would never repeat and I do not advise anyone to put their vacations and leisure time in their hands. NO SERVICE for host and humility to recognize their mistakes and their mismanagement is ZERO.

I hired a week's vacation in natural surroundings and coves of Menorca to snorkel and we ended up in Mallorca (Palma) to repair the boat and help with repair tasks, anchoring in spaces of little or no tourist interest. The only day that was good despite the hours by motor to arrive, was the day we were in Cabrera, an hour and a half disembarked and leaving for Palma again to change sails. Obviously it was necessary to help. Without my friends I returned reluctantly just to not abandon our things on the ship. Those who left left without their luggage due to the volume of things we were carrying.

A disappointment and a great sadness since I have few vacations a year and this character made them a nightmare.
