The adventure will begin in Puerto Madryn, where you will board the sailboat with us.

The Falkland Islands are a remote archipelago in the South Atlantic. With rugged terrain and cliff-fringed coastlines, its hundreds of islands and islets are home to sheep farms and abundant bird species. The capital is located on Isla Soledad, the largest island.

This expedition is very special, it is the first time that we are going to the Malvinas and we will do it in a navigation of 950 nautical miles.

The route will be defined on the date, it depends a lot on the weather but in principle it takes 5 or 6 days to Malvinas and 3 or 4 days enjoying the islands. We will have 3 more days of navigation to Isla de los Estados with 2 days on it and we will finish with 2 more days of navigation through the Strait of Le Maire and the Beagle Channel to Ushuaia. In total, about 17 days of travel.

We will do a historical review of the Malvinas and their war to go into the matter on the way to the archipelago. We will also review Jules Verne's novel "The Lighthouse at the End of the World".

We will be accompanied by an expedition leader who will guide us through its environmental richness and we will visit historical places where we will pay a small tribute to the victims of the war.

  • Plan
The first stage of the journey consists of 550 nautical miles of fin navigation. It will be about 4 days of navigation through the Atlantic until arriving at the Malvinas.
After 4 days in the Malvinas, we will set sail towards the Isla de los Estados, on a 250-nautical-mile journey.
We will spend 3 days on the aforementioned island, where we will do a couple of treks through San Juan de Salvamento and the mythical lighthouse at the end of the world.
We will visit Cook Bay and its old prison, we will walk through Puerto Vancuver and Puerto Parry.
We will head towards the Strait of Le Maire between stories of shipwrecks and navigators in the area, until we face the Beagle Channel.
We will visit Isla Martillo and its penguin colony.
We will sail through Puerto Haverton and from there we will sail another 150 nautical miles to finish our adventure no less than in Ushuaia, the city at the end of the world, some 16 days after setting sail.
