Not only ships that want to go in and out of the Mediterranean have to go through the Strait of Gibraltar, but also all sea creatures such as dolphins, whales and tuna. Sail with us on the third leg of our Canary Islands-Balearics cruise and accompany the dolphins on their way to the Mediterranean.

Plan

Malaga - Almeria - Alicante - Ibiza - Mallorca

We start in Malaga and head east. We travel along the Andalusian coast in 24-hour stretches. Our first stop is Almeria with its old fortress, which towers over the old town and the harbor. After a tour, there is a culinary foray into the wonderful tapas bars in the city.

Our next leg takes us north around Cabo de Gata. We sail through the night again and arrive in Alicante in the early afternoon. With a little luck, we will have the opportunity to perfect our moorings in the outer harbor against the impressive backdrop of the old fortress. before we moor for the night. If you want, you can climb the fortress (there is also a lift) and enjoy the impressive view over the city and the harbor.

The next morning we sail a little further along the coast and then head straight for the Balearic Islands. It is about 90nm across the open sea to Ibiza and if we were fast enough and the weather permits, we can take another break here. Otherwise we will continue non-stop to Mallorca, where we will arrive in Soller on Thursday evening. On Friday we will then continue to Pollensa on the north side of Mallorca and the end of our trip.

Other information

The skipper for this activity speaks english, german and spanish. To participate you must speak one of the languages spoken on board.

We will be happy to accommodate special training requirements (night driving and control, navigation, etc.) if possible and of course all miles will be confirmed to you.

In addition to the tour fee, there is also an on-board cash fund. This is used to pay for on-board food, fuel, port fees and any minor damage caused.
Experience has shown that the cost per week is between 100 and 200 per person, depending on the demands on the on-board kitchen.
