First day: For boarding we are waiting for you at the “Columbus” marina in the port of Trapani starting from 2.00 pm to complete the boarding procedures and carry out the briefing. After settling into the cabins, we finally cast off the moorings...head towards Levanzo! Taking a bath in company will be our first approach to this unmissable tour.
Second day: kissed by the sun we prepare the cockpit table and start the day with a rich breakfast and with Levanzo as our backdrop; we spend the morning swimming and diving in the splendid waters of “Cala Minnula”, “Cala Fredda”, “Cala Dogana”, “Cala Tramontana”, etc. We can also organize a small excursion to the Grotta del Genovese (an important evidence of Paleolithic rock art on the island of Levanzo). We open the sails and sail westwards, after about 12 miles we find ourselves in front of the island of Marettimo, the wildest and most uncontaminated of the Egadi Islands; for our eyes it will be a mix of rocky coasts that plunge into a Caribbean sea. Let's sharpen our eyes: if we are lucky we will see a dolphin or maybe a monk seal! Let's drop anchor under the imposing promontory of the island and get ready for an aperitif at sunset in front of the famous castle of Punta Troia.
Third day: We dedicate the morning to visiting the bays of “Scalo Maestro, “Cala Manione” and “Praia Nacchi” to do some snorkeling among the fish of the reserve. In the afternoon, now fully satisfied by the sun and the sea, we head towards the port of Marettimo. It will be wonderful to be surprised by the sunset over the sea from the suggestive "Roman Houses"... or more simply sitting and enjoying an aperitif on the boat. The village of Marettimo will be the ideal place to refresh your palate by dining in one of its characteristic restaurants.
Fourth day: The more intrepid can choose to explore the island also from land via the path that climbs under the shade of the Mediterranean scrub towards the "Carcaredda" crest. Alternatively, you can visit the sea caves rich in stalactites and with emerald water that can only be reached on board small local boats. In the afternoon, between tacks and gybes, alternating with the controls of the boat, we will head towards the island of Favignana, where we will choose the most suitable bay to spend the night at anchor under a starry sky and the rustle of the waves in the background.
Fifth day: we put on a mask and snorkel to dive into the transparencies of "Cala Rotonda" and "Baia del Preveto". We circumnavigate the island reaching “Cala Azzurra” and “Lido Burrone”. The island's port will be our afternoon destination to be able to moor in the marina and comfortably go ashore; in the evening we can get lost in the alleys of the town looking for a restaurant in true island style.
Sixth day: the best way to start the day is by refreshing your palate with a granita with brioche in one of the many bars in the square and continuing with a visit to the Tonnara Florio, one of the oldest Sicilian tuna fisheries. We will be enraptured by the history of this place, by the explanation of how tuna is caught and processed. A small lesson in the history of work, rituals and gastronomic tradition in Sicily. We finally leave the moorings to head towards what is perhaps the symbol of Favignana: “Cala Rossa”, tuff quarries overlooking a sea with turquoise waters. It will be a perfect view to toast this holiday once again!
Seventh day: after a nice breakfast in the cockpit we will already feel the nostalgia of the sun and salt in our hair, of unforgettable sunsets and the most beautiful bays in the Mediterranean. We then say goodbye to Favignana and head towards the Trapani marina where we plan to dock in the morning. It's time to say goodbye and pack the memory of an unforgettable experience.
