All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (italian and spanish)
Take time out to watch a sunset with a glass of white wine, to make a long crossing and see dolphins jumping alongside the bow, look at the starry sky in good company in a wild harbor. A holiday is not an obligation, but in addition to learning to sail, on a boat you learn to live in a community..
Fundamental to be at ease during the experience is cooperation in all activities on board (from shopping, to cooking, to daily and final cleaning), order, respectful sharing of common spaces and resources (electricity, water), cabins and personal needs.
Of course we will also collaborate in all navigation, anchoring and mooring manoeuvres.
HOW DOES THE COMMON CASE WORK?
On the first day, all participants will be asked to make a monetary contribution to pay for the first shopping, the stay in the port if we make stops, and petrol (very little will be used). It is usually estimated to be around €20 per person per day.
HOW IS THE WATER USED ON BOARD?
The availability of fresh water on the boats is limited, we have a total of 300 litres. We can use it however we want, but we must bear in mind that before it runs out we will have to stop at some port to fill up the tank. It's a good opportunity to reduce consumption and take advantage of the freedom that only a sailboat can give us as we don't have to go back to fill up.
For those interested it will also be possible to practice sport climbing as all the necessary material is present on the boat.
