Week & Schedule
Our adventure together begins in Málaga. After boarding and a detailed briefing, it's time to get to work: We'll inspect the rigging, sails, engine, electrical system, safety equipment, pumps, navigation systems, and much more. You'll learn how to plan maintenance work, check spare parts, and identify or troubleshoot technical problems. Anyone interested can get involved in all areas – from changing the oil to checking the life raft's functionality.
In between, we sail to Almeria, test the systems underway, and enjoy the Spanish coast. In Almeria, there's time for shore excursions, excursions, or simply enjoying crew life in the harbor. After completing the work and checks, we sail back to Málaga, where we end the week together.
Knowledge & Practice
This week is ideal for anyone who wants to learn more about yacht technology, maintenance, and preparation for long-distance voyages. You'll get hands-on experience with all the systems on board, get hands-on experience, and ask questions. Our team will explain the procedures, offer tips, and share their experiences from many years of bluewater sailing.

Wind & Climate
In November, the southern Andalusian coast shows off its mild side. In Málaga and Almería, you can expect pleasant temperatures between 18 and 23°C during the day, and temperatures rarely drop below 14°C at night. Sun shines for an average of 6 to 7 hours per day, and prolonged periods of rain are rare – short showers are a possibility, but they usually pass quickly.
The winds blow predominantly from the west to south at 2–4 Beaufort (6–16 knots), providing pleasant conditions for sailing and working on deck. The water remains pleasantly warm at 19 to 21°C even in late autumn—ideal for technical checks on the hull or a dip in the sea.
Overall, the region offers an ideal climate in November for maintenance work, training and relaxed crew life on board.
