Learn to sail with a fantastic holiday in southern Sardinia

We will start our adventure from Cagliari
Our journey begins in the vibrant city of Cagliari, where history meets the sea.

From there we will set sail to discover the fascinating area of Villasimius, with its pristine beaches and turquoise waters. Entering the marine protected area of Capo Carbonara you will witness nature in its purest form, surrounded by the vibrant marine life that thrives in this pristine sanctuary.

We will then head southwest crossing the beach area of Tuerredda and Capo Malfatano, an area where greyish sandy beaches alternate with steep cliffs and coves of amber sand mixed with pebbles and rocks.

From there it will be very easy to reach Porto Pino with its
white beaches that immerse themselves in the blue hues of the sea, 'desert' dunes of fine sand, coves of pink sand with clear seabeds, placid lagoons and a forest of very rare Aleppo pines, thorny oaks, centuries-old junipers and lush Mediterranean scrub.

We will continue our itinerary through the area of Sant'Antioco. A characteristic coast adorned with volcanic beaches, where the dark volcanic rocks meet the crystalline waters of the Mediterranean. The contrast between the dark volcanic sand and the vivid tones of the sea creates a landscape of great visual impact and unforgettable.

Weather permitting, our journey will continue towards the southwest coast in the region of Cala Masua. Here the emblematic Pan di Zucchero, a natural monument of 132 meters in the middle of the sea, dominates the landscape. Opposite is the daring work of Porto Flavia suspended between sky and sea, built in the 20s to allow the loading of minerals on ships.

We will end our itinerary in Carloforte, a town included in the exclusive club of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The island of San Pietro is rich in history and uncontaminated nature, a privileged passage area for the red tuna. Its village will enchant you with its streets and steep alleys where you can try the delicious traditional dish of Tonno alla Carlofortina.

The main idea of the sailing trip we will do will be to discover the maximum number of places possible, so it is not convenient to embark and disembark in Cagliari. To make the most of the time available if we start the trip in Cagliari we will end it in the Carloforte area and vice versa, in any case the embarkation and disembarkation places will be easily reachable by bus or train.
