Malaga (Benalmadena) - Lanzarote Crossing: First Taste of the …

This is a trip for sailing lovers and for those who want to experience the thrill of the ocean without having to cross it entirely!
We'll depart from Benalmadena, a town about 20 km from Malaga, easily reached by car in about 20-30 minutes. It's a popular tourist destination on the Costa del Sol, renowned for its beautiful beaches, mountainous landscapes, and numerous attractions.
We'll be moored at Puerto Marina on the Costa del Sol: a beautiful marina, often considered one of the most beautiful in Europe. It offers a wide selection of restaurants, bars, shops, and breathtaking sea views.
For those who want, there's also the Teleférico de Benalmádena: a cable car that takes you up Calamorro mountain, from which you can enjoy incredible panoramic views of the coast and surrounding mountains.
The historic center of Benalmádena, a picturesque Andalusian village that retains its traditional charm, with whitewashed houses, narrow streets, and charming little squares.

Day 1: Benalmádena - Gibraltar
Preparation and departure in the morning.

Day 2: Gibraltar - Lanzarote
Sailing along the coast, we head towards Gibraltar. The passage through the Strait of Gibraltar is spectacular and rich in history.

Day 3: Gibraltar - Lanzarote
Get ready for a long open sea voyage, crossing the Alboran Sea and approaching the Canary Islands. This will be the longest stretch (5-6 days of uninterrupted sailing), but the views and freedom of the sea will make it memorable.

Day 7/8: Lanzarote
We'll take advantage of the time to explore Lanzarote, one of the most fascinating Canary Islands, famous for its volcanic landscapes, beaches, and natural parks. You can visit Timanfaya National Park, the Cueva de los Verdes, and relax in the crystal-clear waters.

Day 8-9: Lanzarote - Fuerteventura
They are approximately 40 nautical miles apart.
If we want, we can extend our adventure with a short sail to Fuerteventura, Lanzarote's neighboring island, which offers wide beaches and incredible landscapes, and spend a couple of days exploring there.

Day 10: Return to Lanzarote
30/10 Disembarkation in Lanzarote (Canary Islands).

Other information

All crew members are welcome, even if they do not know the language spoken on board (english, french, german, italian and spanish)

The extra expenses to be shared among all participants with a common fund are:
Fuel, calculating the number of engine hours (consumption 5 liters/hour)
Galley, it's done all together before leaving
Final cleaning (100 euros to be divided between everyone)
Days of mooring in port
Tourist taxes where required
I recommend always arriving a couple of days before departure so you can familiarize yourself with the skipper, the boat, and the rest of the crew.
